Majan college

Established in 1995, Majan was the first private college in Oman. The institution is run by Human Investment Cooperation, a Kuwait-based organization that is owned by Kuwaiti Finance House. The campus of Majan College is located in Darsait that is a multi-cultural academic hub with over 3,500 students and a hundred employees from different countries. Majan is managed by the Ministry of Higher Education, Oman and is accredited by the University of Bedfordshire, UK.

Undergraduate courses
The various undergraduate programmes offered by the college include Business Administration with seven pathways, namely, Finance, Marketing, Accounting, Information Systems, Human Resources, Small Business, and Tourism, and English Language. All these courses are available in full time as well as part-time mode.

Postgraduate courses
The Post-Graduate Center (PGC) began its operations in September 2004 by introducing MBA programmes for the first time in Oman. It has collaborated with the Universities of Bedfordshire, Leeds, Glasgow, and Tasmania. The students from Oman, USA, Europe, South Asia, and North Africa pursue Masters in Business Administration, International Human Resources Management, and Computer Sciences from the center. The graduates have been
placed in various companies around the world.

Professional Courses
The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is the global body for professional accountants that offer qualifications to people seeking a career in finance, accountancy, and management. Majan College is a learning partner for ACCA and offer programs in ACCA, International Financial Reporting, International Auditing, and Diploma in International Financial Reporting.
